Artur Martinez

Chef Artur grew up in a family-run bar founded in 1952 in Terrassa, learning the trade from his grandparents and parents. In 2002, he transformed the old bar into Capritx, a small gourmet restaurant where creativity overcame limited resources to forge a distinctive culinary vision.

In 2017, at the height of his career, he moved to Barcelona and opened AÜRT, regaining a Michelin star just eight months later — a recognition he still holds today. In 2026, he opened TRÜ, offering a contemporary take on Catalan culinary tradition.

His cuisine is widely recognised as one of the most distinctive and well-reasoned on the Spanish gastronomic scene.
